At Woodsmyn’s Woodworking, I take pride in creating distinctive, sustainable furniture and homewares from my own original designs. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in Kent using only recycled, reclaimed, and locally sourced timber. Every creation tells a story of craftsmanship, sustainability, and a deep respect for the natural beauty of wood — made with care, precision, and  a  genuine passion.

About me

Woodsmyn's Woodworking is based in Hamstreet by on the Romney Marsh. I am passionate about creating sustainable and unique pieces of furniture and decor that bring beauty and functionality to any space. With a focus on eco-conscious practices and quality craftsmanship, I aim to make a positive impact on both our customers and the environment.

Getting ready for the festive season

The sawdust factory has been in full swing this month as I prepare for the  one of the busiest times of the year. All of  our festive products are made with the same dedication and original designs that  my customers love.

In the true nature of my  ethos- these lovely endgrain oak chopping boards have  been recycled from an old oak worktop from  my local recycling centre. Lovelingly  finished in a natural mineral oil and beeswax- measuring a whopping 18 " x 11"  ( 45 x 28 cm) Only two available- contact me for details.

 At Woodsmyn's Woodworking I create custom charcuterie and chopping boards from recycled and reclaimed local english wood. You can supply your own design or ask for one to be commissioned.

I first met Tom at this year’s Rye County Show, where I purchased a beautiful made ash chopping board. Tom had a great array of other incredible wooden items too. Fast forward a few weeks, I have asked Tom to help with the creation of some new pieces for our home - a wooden kitchen roll holder and a wooden table top, as part of our refurb of an old Singer sewing machine base.  It is clear that Tom is dedicated to what he does, and is keen to share the many ideas that he has. You won’t be disappointed in any products he produces for you!

Customers always worry how durable some of my products are! Well- I designed and made this for a cusomer Rob Cull in November 2022 (left) ,It has been to-Jamaica ,France twice ,Camber  Sands x 2 and currenlty in Tunisia in 2025 ( Right)
